This Anna is based on her Fates incarnation, sixth finger not included. You can only use each effect of "Anna, the Secretive Merchant" once per turn. If this card is in your GY: You can discard 1 card return it to your hand. If a "Secret Stash(s)" you control is targeted by your opponent's card effect: You can reveal this card in your hand, then discard 1 card negate that effect, and if you do, destroy it. This is based on her Awakening incarnation, which was her first playable appearance. She even puts a Fortune Counter on it when she fetches it, free of charge. You can only use each effect of "Anna, the Secret Seller" once per turn.Īs the main searcher of the archetype's key card, this is a mandatory 3-of in any Anna Deck. If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can activate 1 "Secret Stash" from your Deck, and if you do, place 1 Fortune Counter on it. All of the Main Deck Anna monsters have different Levels and a hard OPT effect in which the player can discard to return them from the GY to the hand. Aside from avoiding "Warriors with Equip Spells" like so many fan-made archetypes already do, the Annas breathe some fresh air and levity to the Fire Emblem series, while offering a relatively unique strategy: nullifying discard costs with their secret stash. Since using the protagonists of each game would probably be too similar to Noble Knights in both concept and gameplay mechanics, I've decided to focus on one of the few constants between each game in the series: the Anna merchants. I've been revisiting Fire Emblem Engage lately, and thought about how an archetype based on that series would work.
