Read 51 reviewsĪlum: My experience at Clear View High School(CVHS) wasn’t what I expected. It is an overall scholarly environment for students seeking future success. The faculty and staff are respectable, supportive, and dedicated to the students' learning, the teachers help students in any way in order to ensure student success, the coursework is rigorous which tests and prepares students for college, the students are competitive and strive to become what they dream in the future, the school offers opportunities, extracurricular activities, organizations, and clubs that focus on academic tracks to be part of, seeking to expand horizons, knowledge, and offer service to the community. Senior: The school offers two distinct tracks engineering and healthcare, both of which offer students to find and pursue their passions in these fields, and offers courses and guarantees certifications to be received on the day students graduate, and at the same time, students have the opportunity to earn college experience and credits while in high school due to the school's dual-credit program. Some classrooms are too hot and some too cold, some are very dirty. Also with classrooms, they are tolerable but the conditions of a classroom are always bad. The restrooms are okay, I wish they were a bit cleaner and smelt a bit nicer. The school lunch is alright but they over charge. The classes are quite long though, I wished to have more classes and shorter times on each class. I would like to see more sports stuff included, like I said out school is small, so small that there is not a gym, I would like a gym or a track field. They try their best to keep our mental health healthy by having club days and mental health days of sorts. I like how they encourage us to join competitions and reach for scholarships. The school is small and doesn’t have much sports, but it is a stem school so they have plenty of computers. Sophomore: It’s a great school, the teachers are usually all well but each grade has a teacher bad at teaching. I wouldn't get this type of education anywhere else in the district. This school allows you to prepare for college with its dual diploma program, form life long friendships, and try new things like all the different clubs and activities on campus. I have made friends that stick with me for the rest of my life and im so honored to have been accepted into Clear Horizons. Everyone youre surrounded by is here to help when needs and support your goals. You grow relationships and bonds with the teachers and the most of the students. Everyone knows who you are and you know who everyone else is too. The best thing about this school is the support system that you couldn't get at public schools. There are around 500 kids in my school which is shocking to outsiders. Here, you arent surrounded by random peers and thousands of other students. Senior: Coming from a large middle school, the Environment at Clear Horizons was quite a change.
